Chimene began her career with D.L. Evans Bank over 30 years ago. She started at the bank in 1993 as a teller and was promoted to new accounts representative/loan adjuster. As the bank grew, she changed positions to a full-time loan adjuster and worked her way up to a commercial loan officer. In 2016, she became the assistant branch manager. She has earned many financial, lending and leadership certificates over the years. In her new position as branch manager, Smith will continue to help her clients with their loan needs and she will be responsible for managing all aspects of day-to-day operations while providing customer care and leadership in achieving branch goals. Smith represents the bank as a member of community groups such as Rotary International, Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce and Soroptimist International of Burley. She was a past treasurer for MCYCFL and a past chamber board member for eight years. Smith said she enjoys golfing, shopping, traveling to warm places and spending time with her family and friends, and she looks forward to taking care of her long-time customers and meeting new ones to help them with their banking needs.
